Make your Mark.

Madmen is in full swing on AMC. Despite being an ad girl myself, I am just jumping on this band wagon and have spent the last few weeks catching up on the first two seasons. One story line had our favorite and only female copywriter in a lipstick focus group. Her stroke of strategic genius was to note that women in the 60’s had one signature lip color that they used to ‘mark their man’. In some ways this has changed, in some ways not, but for sure when you discover a great shade you hold on to it for dear life.

Which is why I share with you a great shade of nail polish that will make you blissfully happy. Get thee to Target and check out Rimmel of London nail polish. I fell in love with Steel Grey which is a great warm brown/grey color that may indeed have a hint of lavender. You have to see it to fall in love. If you hate the color, grab another. My nails have been chip free for four days and counting.

Plus you’ll hear Kate Moss’ voice saying ‘Rimmel of London’ in your head after purchase. Aren’t you glad I passed it on? With thanks to Evan.
